Deerfoot Boler

We’re cruising down Deerfoot Trail, quite often, (and not always jokingly) referred to as Calgary’s answer to the Indianapolis Speedway…and what’s that we see ahead? Up there, same lane, having just merged in, a little Boler Trailer, dead ahead! At a “leisurely” hundred and twenty clicks, ten over the limit, we’re getting no closer. Heck we’re slow pokes on this road at that speed (no denial here). A little more gas and we catch up. For a moment we’re pushing one forty, click goes the camera then we back off a bit. Soon it’s out of sight.

Fast and Furious – Boler edition. They were in a hurray!

This here speed demon Boler was captured in transit in September 2016. It’s the Labour Day Long Weekend, and no doubt it’s headed out to partake in what is usually Summer’s last hurrah for many camping types. Saw lots of RVs and trailers this this day, but only one was a Boler. Stay safe there out on the roads.

Later this same weekend…
Hillcrest Mohawk #5.
Autocar Coal Hauler.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on road trips and adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
