Renfrew Boler
We’re always wandering about, be it here in our own city or anywhere we happen to be. It’s just what we do. And one little perk of doing this is that inevitably, and I mean it’s almost guaranteed, we’ll stumble across a Boler. Or maybe two. They’re out there, and we always find ’em. Case in point here, a stroll in the Calgary Neighbourhood of Renfrew, one discovered in an alley. Look for it, there over two fences, just the roof of it seen, a thirteen foot Boler. Darn, we’re good…
This one was “Boler Spotted” in early June 2018, just a few days before our most epic trip to Spain (search “Spain” on BIGDoer.com and enjoy). This here one appears to be an early to mid-1970s example and we know this on account of that metal Boler Badge. Later they used a sticker. And with this find, and all Bolers caught by us, comes a smile. We so love these little eggs. Boler campers just have a way of making one happy. Ask anyone who owns one.
In the area…
Midfield Park Massacre.
Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on road trips and adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
