Winter’s Boler

When it’s time for a break, sometimes a little stroll is just the prescription needed. It’s good for the mind and body, a way to unwind, rid one’s self of what ever problems are at hand and brings everything back into focus. No prescription drugs required, no alcohol, nothing difficult workout wise, just putting one foot in front of the other and go.

We know pretty much every street in our part of the city, having walked most of them, but now and then there’s one unfamiliar to us that we’ll “discover”. Like here, never seen till this fateful winter’s day, in the Calgary community of Spruce Cliff. And there’s magic happening, not all that far from BIGDoer HQ and the Team’s “palatial” mansion, one adorable Boler Camper discovered entirely by chance. There’s a Boler “force” and we felt its presence before, and now it’s been found.

This is a real nice one too…ah, who are we kidding they’re ALL fabulous. Suspect it’s likely not to move till spring. But come warmer weather, watch out…the road will be calling.

One day, you know, we’ll buy a Boler. Truth is, in spite of the obsession, we don’t own one. What the?! I know!

The date is December 2018 and we’re freezing our extremities off. But hey, sometimes you need to get out, even if it means roughing it a bit.

More Bolers on the way…

Later that month…

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on road trips and adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
