Back Alley Boler
Here’s proof positive our “LFT – Little Fibreglass Trailer” spotting skills are presently on point and that’s in spite of everything else working less and less well as we age. The Boleradar is strong at BIGDoer.com. Here’s one well hidden at the far end of some alley, in the community of Drumheller Alberta, that should have eluded us, but didn’t. Walking along a river pathway it’s that strange feeling β there’s a Boler about β and even though it was not within our line of sight, comes a “sign” we should do an over the shoulder glance. Bingo! There it is, the unmistakable shape of a seventeen footer even if it’s partly obscured. A moment of zen, the humble satisfaction we did it well. High five…and extra bonus points for difficulty in the Boler Spotting Game.
This little trailer was photographed way back in May 2019, a random find seen as we simply wandered about one of out favourite towns. Love the history there…and the scenery is something too. Interestingly alleys are a prime Boler area, so often there is the expectation we’ll find one or two of them simply by the numbers, if visit enough back lanes. And it happens. Still, this one was a challenge account our position.
With this post we’re now approximately a year behind in publishing these. While an improvement compared to before, we’re still hopelessly backlogged. But we’ll keep chipping away it anyway.
Boler overload that weekend…

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on road trips and adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.

Nice walk there along the river.
Any walk, with you in especially, is a good one.
