Slipped Through the Cracks Boler

Here’s one from back in 2019, a Boler found in a small town storage lot. It’s a photo that somehow slipped through the cracks and until now, had not seen the light of day. That’s how it goes sometimes where you’re dealing with an archive a billion photos deep (<--extreme exaggeration alert) and a memory that's clearly not up to the task (<--no exaggeration alert). We shoot them, are all giddy in anticipation of posting, and then the next day completely forget.

Who can relate?

This is a seventeen foot Boler in the common factory tan with orange and yellow-ish stripes. The 1970s were a strange time! It’s possible this one was made in the Calgary Neonex Plant, but then again it could have come from other plants the firm contracted with. If anything tracing the lineage of any size Boler is a challenge given they were made by so many different companies, often concurrently.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass camping trailer made in Canada in the 1960s to 1980s and we make a fun game spotting them on road trips or adventures. We’ll also include similar trailers from other manufacturers that are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
