Over the Fence
We’re always on Boler patrol, and when out for a walk keep our eyes open for our sometimes elusive quarry. Still, we find more than our share, and while having keen senses helps, in the end it’s mostly by dumb luck. In some instances, like here, it pays to be tall and if not for that the Team would have never spotted the little trailer seen in this post, captured over the fence style.
It almost looks shy, like it’s hiding.
The metal badging tells us this is an earlier model and sometimes after the mid-1970s they changed to using stickers. This find in Northwest Calgary dates back to the summer of 2020 and we were just out for a little stroll when it was spotted. Yes, we often wander random neighbourhoods β for variety β and do it to keep healthy. As an added bonus we often make new Boler discoveries this way.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass camping trailer made in Canada in the 1960s to 1980s and we make a fun game spotting them on road trips or adventures. We’ll also include similar trailers from other manufacturers that are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
