Two Bolers For The Price Of One

We’re getting two for the price of one and here’s a pair of Bolers that when not in use are stored out back of a home in an alley. These ones are well known to us and we’ve passed them by many times before (see:Bolers, After Dark). They’re in a Calgary neighbourhood we often stroll about, because it’s close to the rail yards and this affords a chance to maybe catch some train action.

Plus there’s often other Bolers or Boler-like trailers close by. For some reason Inglewood is a real hotspot and that’s another reason we’re in the community often. Trains and Bolers – does it get any better?

The furthest trailer is pulled by a classic car painted the same colour (here: Mercury Meteor & Matching Boler) and together they’re a stunning combo. It was a chilly April 2021 when we paid a visit and not ideal camping weather. Like most Bolers these are likely for fair weather and probably only hit the road in summer. We were in the middle of a late season snow storm this day and it was a rather dreary time. But as it always happens, it was made all the better when they came into view.

From the same card dump…
An Evening in Meeting Creek, Sundre Loop and Random Olds Alberta.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass camping trailer made in Canada in the 1960s to 1980s period and we make a fun game spotting them on road trips or adventures. We’ll also include similar trailers from other manufacturers that are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
