Airdrie Boler

We walk. A lot. When the urge hits us, we pick a random spot somewhere in Calgary, or in some small town close by, point ourselves in whatever direction, put boots to pavement and just go. Take this street, take that street, follow this path or that, the direction matters not. It’s a great way to get the blood pumping, a great way to get rid of stress. A total win/win if you ask us.

A nice side-effect to doing things this way is we regularly stumble across little Bolers Trailers by accident. They might be sitting in someone’s driveway, back yard or alley, parked out on the street or plopped down in some storage facility. It’s almost a guarantee, we’ll find one. Alberta is a Boler hotspot (many were even made here), so it’s fully expected. Still each find makes us giddy – but we’re strange that way.

The little trailer seen here was found in Airdrie Alberta in April 2016 (yes, we’re running late in posting). The property it’s on backs onto a street we happened to be strolling down and there it is. This appears to be a nicely kept thirteen foot model.

Old trucks on a dreary day

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on our road trips adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
