Yahk Boler

Well lookie here, right in front us of on the highway and headed in the same direction, a cute little Boler. Another added to the list. That was easy! The location is Yahk British Columbia (“We’ve bin to Yahk ‘n’ back”), right as you enter town after crossing the Moyie. Hmm, nice little bridge, but we’ve got a thing for those too. As we do for most everything.

Anyway, it’s July 2016 and we on a road trip headed to Nelson and area on assignment (see: The Woods, The Mill, The Railway). It’s a fine day and we’re in a mighty good mood. And it was made all the better because we spotted this little egg. Yes, we’re easy to please. Darn that windshield glare though!

Later that same day, your author lost in thought while crossing Kootenay Lake. This near hour long ferry trip is fun, relaxing and oh so scenic, a nice break from the highway. Love it. In back a second ferry is seen going in the opposite direction.

Also from this trip…
Troup Junction.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on our road trips adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.

Lots of Bolers come thru area every summer and are often attached to colour-matching classic cars. Awesome to see when they drive in bunches.
