Longview Boler

Longview Alberta is the gateway to Kananaskis. A sign as you enter town even says so! Not all that far away, a bit to the west, are the southern reaches of that vast recreational area, a most scenic place and a hiker’s paradise. Lots and lots of trails out there among the hills and mountains with fun and adventure a rock solid guarantee. The town is also along the shortest route into one of our most favourite parts of the province, the Crowsnest Pass. So love it there.

On passing though Longview one goes right by the “Tales and Trails” municipal campground. We always scan for Bolers at this point, naturally, and once in a while one magically appears. And it’s always a sign that the day will be something extra special. And it was. Had a great time going to Hell and back (see link below).

The date of this spotting is August of 2016. Playing catch-up with these Boler posts – there’s many more in the pipeline.

Later that day, a most heavenly place…
Hell’s Ridge.

Boler: A small cute-as-a-bug fibreglass travel trailer made in Canada in the 1970s and 80s. We make a fun game spotting them on road trips and adventures. We also include other similar trailers here, those from other manufacturers who are close in appearance or configuration to Bolers.
